| Our Services In an effort to maximize shots at fish and maintain personal attention Ethan limits each trip to a maximum of two anglers. Ethan will place you into position to get the closest casting opportunities possible. * If there are more than two in your party, Ethan can pick top guides to ensure trip quality. Fly fishing Technique The fly fishing technique will be sight-casting from a poling skiff about 90% of the time. Ethan runs a Hell's Bay boat, which is the world's most complete poling skiff. Other techniques employed will be stalking on foot. |
Light Tackle Angling In addition to providing the finest saltwater fly fishing angling opportunities on the Texas coast, Ethan also provides the same light tackle sight-casting fishing trips as well. Light Tackle trips are very similar to the fly fishing trips with respect to poling and sight-casting to cruising red fish and trout but using a light tackle spinning or bait-casting setup. What Is Provided Wells Outfitters provides flies, leaders, lures and tackle as wells as drinks. |
